Our Mission

Our mission is to create a safe, inclusive space where individuals in substance use recovery, along with their friends & family, can access support, resources, & social connections.

Community Agreements

FCRC is a peer-driven space built on connection, compassion, and shared responsibility. By being here, everyone agrees to follow the practices below.

Relational Respect and Peer Values

  • Treat everyone with honesty, kindness, and respect.
  • Support others when you can and ask for help when you need it. Grow together with compassion and accountability.
  • Lived experience is a source of strength and wisdom.
  • Listen closely, speak from your own experience, do not interrupt, and do not give unsolicited advice.
  • Communicate directly and with care. If harm occurs, work toward repair and mutual understanding.

Emotional and Physical Safety

  • Participate at your own pace. You can share, listen, or simply be present. Support is available.
  • Difficult emotions are valid. Express them respectfully and without threats.
  • Ask before any physical contact. Personal space matters.
  • If you feel unsafe or worry about someone else, talk with an FCRC team member.

Confidentiality and Boundaries

  • Keep what is shared here private, unless someone’s safety is at risk.
  • Use social media in ways that protect privacy. Always get permission before sharing FCRC photos, events, or plans.

Substance Free, Weapon Free, Inclusive Space

  • No alcohol, drugs, paraphernalia even if legal, or weapons.
  • Smoking only in designated outdoor areas.
  • The space is for adults 18 plus unless a family friendly event is announced.
  • No discrimination of any kind, including by race, color, religion, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, ability, age, national origin, or recovery pathway.
